This is a one-stop shop for information on the energy systems of the 48 member states of the InterAmerican Development Bank (IADB), plus key global energy players and regions.

The interactive database was inspired by the work of Dr. Ramón Espinasa, an expert in Latin American energy systems who worked with a team at the IADB to organize and structure the data. Annette Hester spearheaded the conversion of the data into an easily accessible web-based tool. Dr. Doris Kosminsky and Dr. Claudio Esperança, from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and a large team from Brazil, Colombia, and the United States delivered on the vision.
